“BCP was tested during the sudden lockdown during the Covid pandemic, 2020-2021. Curfew was imposed in a matter of 24 hours and yet PBL operated all emergency services. How – we had the facility to host staff in the Office premises where kitchen, residential and recreational (cricket) facilities operated. A group of experienced and dedicated personnel stayed on premises for those crucial days – working, eating, recreation & sleeping. Additional personnel who lived in walking distances supplemented the process. We were able to do this because we owned and controlled the environment around the Office.”

Employee development
focus on German
- All Indian PBL employees have at least a rudimentary knowledge of German and are continuously trained in processing orders from German-speaking countries.
- PBL project managers, team leaders and all employees in quality assurance can draw on several years of experience in dealing with German documents.
- In addition, regular German courses and project-related briefings are held on site, led by experienced German teachers.
- Some of our employees are also systematically learning German at the Goethe Institute in New Delhi and have already benefited from several weeks of training in Germany and Austria.
